The professional liability insurance exists at Allianz Versicherungs-AG in 10900 Berlin. The territorial validity of the insurance coverage contains activities in member states of the European Community and thus meets the minimum requirements of sec. 51 Federal Lawyers’ Act (“Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung”, BRAO).

In disputes between lawyers and their clients, there is on request the possibility of an out-of-court dispute settlement at the regional Bar Association Tuebingen (pursuant sec. 73 para. 2. n. 3 in connection with sec. 73 para. 5 Federal Lawyers’ Act (“Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung”, BRAO) or at the arbitration board of the legal profession (sec. 191 f. Federal Lawyers’ Act (“Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung”, BRAO, Neue Grünstr. 17, 10179 Berlin, www.s-d-r.org) at the Federal German Bar Association, that can be found in the internet on the homepage of the Federal German Bar Association (available at www. brak.de), email: schlichtungsstelle@brak.de.
